The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. (Psalm 126:3)

l          Eight disciples from the campus ministry started a project of “Pre-campus” with a goal to reach out to high school students who are automatically placed into the best university of Taiwan through their excellent academic records and extracurricular activities.  With the last two welcoming events sponsored by these disciples in the past two weeks, over 60 of these high school students have participated, (and already one of them has started to study the Bible.)  Since most of these disciples came from the top high school, Chien Kuo High School, the school even invited our campus students to organize a one-week event in their school that would focus on reaching out to the poor at the end of this month.

With these events, God has blessed us with an opportunity to reach out

to these top high school students, as well as lead them to help the poor!

l          A sector started a “Glory Team” to train disciples to become Bible Talk Leaders.  One of their challenges for their faith and character was to share their faith with 200 people.  A single brother, Sunny, was ready to give up after weeks of unfruitful labor reaching out to 199 people.  However, on his 200th invitation, Sunny met Lee, who has since not only visited the church but also has passed the sin study.

l          Rong Hwa, who went on a mission team five years ago with his newly wed wife, has since experienced divorce when the latter fell away.  Instead of getting bitter with people and God, Rong Hwa is now leading a Bible Talk back in Taipei.  He is determined to follow the Great Commission as he decided to fast a lunch until his Bible Talk could bring someone to the Lord.  This past week alone, they had 5 visitors coming to Church with them.

l          Campus started a “Rejection 3,000” project, whose goal is to help disciples in boldness, as well as to identify with the experience of Romans 10:20-21.  With about 50 students, the project sought to reach out and be possibly rejected by 3,000 fellow students on campus.  From this project, two months later, there are now 3 students that have passed the sin study.

l          A Macau sister, Venus, whose father works in Taiwan but was just diagnosed with stomach cancer without anyone to take care of him.  She contacted the disciples in Taipei who found out that her father, (who are now referred by disciples as “Uncle Chiang”), lives near many disciples.   After many visits, the disciples collected over $300 USD and wrote encouraging cards to give to Uncle Chiang, who was so impacted that he is now warming up to the message of Christ!

l          Cheng Chi University has a Bible Talk that all 4 of them are preparing for Grad School entrance exam.  Yet, for 10 weeks straight, this BT always has new visitor each week to come to hear the Word of God.  Just last week, three of these disciples placed into top grad schools, with one scoring at the top of her class!

l          A sector has started a “Top Gun Bible Talk” where various Bible Talk Leaders come out of their BT for two months to become a special Bible Talk.  Their first BT saw no visitor.  But the following week, Yah Ching, a district judge brought two lawyers; one of them has since started to study the Bible.  (There is hope still for lawyers!)
